What do our children think of their school experience?

In July 2025, we launched our new school video and while premiering it with our Year 6 pupils, we asked them to describe how they felt about their journey through St Anne's Fulshaw CE Primary School. Some pupils had been members of our school community since Reception and some had joined later on, even up to and inclusing Year 6.

Here are a selection of their thoughts and feelings, as they reflected on their time with us. While they were, at that time, preparing to leave our school community, they will always be part of our school family.

‘This is the school I have been at since I was four years old. I have got so many happy memories of all those years. I have learnt and grown and made strong friendships. This school is a kind and nurturing environment and I have enjoyed each of the seven years that I have spent here.’

‘I loved doing DT projects with Mrs Watts. I have made so many friends here.’

‘St Anne’s is a lovely school and I have made many friends and memories here.’

‘I have had lots of fun here at St Anne’s. St Anne’s is the best school I have been to, and I’ve been to five! It’s possibly the best school in England!’
