Welcome to Maple Class

Welcome to Year 1 and 2 where we focus on an exciting, hands-on approach to learning.

Our class teachers are:

Miss Smith - Monday to Wednesday

Mrs Yates – Thursday and Friday

A typical day for us looks like:

8:50 - 9:00 Register

9:00 - 9:30 Phonics and spellings

9:30 -10:30 Maths and Guided Reading

Playtime

10:45 -12:00 Handwriting and English

Lunch

1:00 - 2:20 Foundations subjects

Playtime

2:30 - 3:00 Assembly

3:00 - 3:20 Story

Please bring a water bottle and snack or snack money to school every day.

Homework and Little Wandle reading books will be sent home on a Thursday and need to be returned the following Wednesday.
