School Vision

St Anne’s Fulshaw is a kind, nurturing, learning community, where life is lived to the full. Our inclusive approach, based on a strong foundation of Christian values, ensures that everyone is welcome, is valued, has high aspirations and is given opportunities to flourish in every area of life. We enable all members of our diverse family to shine like stars.

In John 10:10, Jesus said ‘I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’ At St Anne’s Fulshaw, every child is welcomed into our school family so that they may have the same.

Flourishing in a Diverse Family

Our commitment to diversity is deeply rooted in the Christian understanding that every individual is uniquely created in the image of God. We do not merely tolerate difference; we actively celebrate it as a divine gift that enriches our entire school family. By weaving an inclusive approach into the fabric of daily life, we ensure that children from all backgrounds, faiths, and abilities feel an absolute sense of belonging. This honours the scriptural truth that we are many parts, yet one body, each with a distinct and vital role to play.

"For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others." — Romans 12:4-5

Empowered to Shine Like Stars

To live life to the full means recognizing and nurturing the unique potential within every single child. At St Anne’s Fulshaw, high aspirations are not reserved for a few, but are a universal promise. We provide the academic, creative, emotional, and spiritual opportunities necessary for everyone to discover their gifts and flourish. By fostering resilience, curiosity, and confidence, we equip our children to take their unique light out into a complex world, serving as beacons of hope, kindness, and excellence.

"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16

A Nurturing and Inclusive Community

As a Church of England Voluntary Controlled church school, our walls extend beyond the classroom into the wider community of Wilmslow and the Church. We understand that a nurturing community is built on daily practices of kindness, mutual respect, and forgiveness. By learning and growing together, our children develop a profound sense of social responsibility and global citizenship. We anchor our community in love, ensuring that St Anne’s Fulshaw remains a sanctuary where all are valued, and where the grace of God is felt through our shared life together.

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God." — 1 John 4:7
